AI Engineer I (Coding – Immediate Start)

Job Summary

Support the post-training of frontier AI coding agents and large language models by engineering critical infrastructure in elite open-source codebases. The focus is on teaching AI models to write clear, accurate pull request descriptions and commit messages that help engineering teams understand and review code changes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Architect and engineer critical infrastructure features in open-source codebases such as Ollama, vLLM, and AutoGen, including complex GPU telemetry and LLM state management.
• Build highly optimized, modular code solutions that integrate seamlessly into large-scale architectures.
• Write atomic, conventional commits that serve as a technical narrative explaining the reasoning and implementation behind code changes.
• Create structured, analytical pull request documentation that breaks down data flows, justifies architectural trade-offs, and demonstrates success with empirical evidence.
• Contribute to curating high-quality version control history and pull request standards.

Requirements

• Strong software engineering or programming background with comfort reading code across common languages.
• Solid understanding of Git, including pull requests, commits, and code diffs.
• Excellent written English with the ability to explain technical changes clearly and identify gaps in explanations.
• Experience reviewing pull requests or writing technical documentation.
• Familiarity with code review practices, developer tooling, or open-source contribution.

What the company offers

• Full-time monthly contract (FTE) position.
• Working hours: 12:00 PM – 9:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
• On-site onboarding support in Amman offices for 1–2 days to prepare for client assessment.
• Ongoing role continuation once performance is confirmed.
