AI Architecture Manager

Job Summary

The AI Architecture Manager leads the design and development of enterprise AI platforms and architecture frameworks to support scalable AI adoption, including Generative AI and Large Language Models. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to implement AI capabilities that drive innovation and ensure operational excellence and responsible AI use.

Responsibilities

• Design and advance enterprise AI architecture frameworks covering Generative AI, LLMs, and multi-modal AI solutions.
• Define target AI platform architectures and create roadmaps for enterprise-wide AI scalability.
• Assess emerging AI technologies and provide recommendations for technology choices and investments.
• Develop and operationalize AI foundations supporting model lifecycle management, deployment, monitoring, and governance.
• Integrate technologies across data platforms, AI/ML ecosystems, cloud infrastructure, security, and governance.
• Architect custom platform components to meet scalability, performance, and operational needs.
• Optimize compute infrastructure and model-serving environments for performance, availability, observability, and cost efficiency.
• Establish AI platform standards, principles, and best practices to ensure secure and scalable AI delivery.

Requirements

• Experience in AI Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Architecture, Data Platforms, or related leadership roles.
• Proven ability to design and implement enterprise-scale AI and Machine Learning platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI, Large Language Models, multi-modal AI models, and AI architecture patterns.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform and their AI/ML services.
• Expertise in MLOps, AI platform engineering, model deployment, monitoring, and AI operations.
• Experience designing governance, security, compliance, and Responsible AI frameworks for enterprise solutions.
• Understanding of distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and scalable infrastructure design.
• Experience leading architecture decisions and influencing technology strategy across cross-functional teams.
• Preferred experience includes building enterprise AI foundations, AI Centers of Excellence, or large-scale AI transformation programs.
• Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation, vector databases, AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and advanced AI platform architectures.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, distributed computing, and high-performance AI infrastructure.
• Expertise in AI observability, model performance optimization, platform reliability, and cost management.
• Strong stakeholder management, consulting, and executive communication skills.
• Relevant certifications in Cloud Architecture, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Enterprise Architecture are preferred.
