Job Summary
ACOUSTIEG is seeking an Acoustic Engineer to support the design, implementation, and testing of acoustic solutions for commercial and architectural projects. The role involves coordinating with project and technical teams to deliver acoustic treatment and sound isolation across various sectors.
Responsibilities
- Implement and support acoustic insulation and treatment systems for architectural projects
- Work with acoustic materials including mineral wool, MLV, gypsum systems, and acoustic panels
- Assist in acoustic design recommendations and selection of suitable acoustic products
- Support coordination with architects, consultants, and MEP teams to integrate acoustic solutions
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and project records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Acoustical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field
- Good years of experience in architectural or environmental acoustics
- Basic knowledge of acoustic standards (STC, NRC, RT60)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with acoustic software and measurement tools is an advantage
- Previous experience in Fit-Out or commercial projects is preferred
- Portfolio or sample acoustic reports is a plus
