Nintex K2 Developer – BPM & Digital Process Automation (DPA)

Job Summary

The Senior Nintex K2 Developer will design, develop, and maintain BPM and DPA solutions using the Nintex K2 platform. The role focuses on workflow automation, digital forms, and integrating enterprise systems to optimize business processes.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage business process automation solutions with Nintex K2.
• Develop and support K2 workflows, SmartForms, SmartObjects, business rules, and approval workflows.
• Translate business needs into technical workflow designs and specifications.
• Build automated processes including approvals, notifications, escalations, and exception handling.
• Integrate K2 with enterprise applications, databases, SharePoint, and external systems.
• Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and SQL Server.
• Customize K2 applications using C#, .NET, and JavaScript as needed.
• Troubleshoot workflow issues, optimize performance, and support deployment and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Nintex K2 platforms like K2 Five, K2 Cloud, or K2 blackpearl.
• Strong skills in BPM, workflow development, and digital process automation.
• Experience with K2 SmartForms, SmartObjects, and workflow design.
• Knowledge of SQL Server and database integration.
• Experience integrating applications via REST APIs and SOAP web services.
• Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft technologies.
• Working knowledge of C#, .NET, and JavaScript for customization and integration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions.

Nice to haves

• Experience implementing BPM/DPA in enterprise settings.
• Experience maintaining or migrating legacy K2 applications.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate or other automation platforms.
• Relevant Nintex/K2 certifications and Agile development experience.
