MS Dynamics 365 F&O Application Support

Job Summary

This role involves providing both functional and technical support for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. The specialist will be the primary contact for users, handling troubleshooting, user access management, and ensuring the reliability of key financial and operational systems.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for end-users facing issues with D365 F&O, providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve functional and technical problems in D365 F&O modules such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Procurement.
• Monitor system performance, batch jobs, and integrations to detect and fix errors or delays.
• Escalate complex problems to Tier 3 support, documenting and following up appropriately.
• Manage user access, security roles, and permissions within the D365 F&O system.
• Conduct routine system maintenance including data integrity checks and configuration updates.
• Support patch, update, and hotfix deployments for the D365 F&O environment.
• Maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years of application support experience focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations or AX 2012.
• Experience with at least two D365 F&O modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Sales and Marketing, or Retail.
• Strong knowledge of D365 F&O architecture, data entities, and security models.
• Experience using Lifecycle Services (LCS) for environment management and deployment.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, X++, or Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate) is beneficial.
• Understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
• Knowledge of integration tools like Dual Write, OData, and custom APIs.
