Lead Instrumentation, Control, ICT & Smart Infrastructure Engineer.

Job Summary

This role involves leading engineering and design activities as well as construction-related tasks for Instrumentation & Control, ICT Networks, Telecommunications, Security Systems, and Smart City Digital Infrastructure Networks in infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop Request for Quotation (RFQ) packages and evaluate technical proposals from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare Material Technical Submittals and review IFC drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
• Issue Requests for Information (RFIs) and manage shop drawings preparation, review, and issuance.
• Provide technical support to construction teams and resolve engineering issues on site.
• Coordinate approvals with consultants and clients for shop drawings and technical submissions.
• Identify project risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure design compliance and monitor project progress with regular reporting.
• Participate in design reviews, value engineering, and technical meetings; support testing, commissioning, and handover of I&C and ELV systems.

Requirements

• B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of total experience including 3 years in engineering and design and 3 years in construction activities related to I&C, ICT Networks, Telecommunications, Security Systems, and Smart City Digital Infrastructure.
• Experience with Instrumentation & Control systems for Potable Water, Irrigation, and Lift Stations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office Suite, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) software and workflows.
• Experience working with Common Data Environment platforms such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Aconex, or similar.
• Ability to review and coordinate BIM models to LOD requirements and project BIM Execution Plans.
• Possession of at least two relevant training certificates related to I&C, ICT, Telecommunications, Security Systems, SCADA, or Smart City Infrastructure.
