Solutions Architect , AGS – Saudi Arabia

Job Summary

The Solutions Architect will work with enterprise and strategic customers in Riyadh and central Saudi Arabia to support AWS’s growth by advising on cloud adoption, modernisation, and AI integration. The role involves designing cloud-native architectures and collaborating with various AWS teams to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Development to ensure long-term customer success and trust through AWS adoption.
• Act as a technical advisor for enterprise customers in Riyadh and central Saudi Arabia, influencing their technology strategies.
• Educate customers on AWS value and participate in architectural discussions to design cloud deployment solutions, including migrations from other cloud providers.
• Lead enablement sessions such as Dev Days, Immersion Days, Workshops, and GameDays to transfer AWS knowledge to customers.
• Share best practices within the AWS Solutions Architect community and contribute to customer-facing materials like white papers and blog posts.
• Serve as a technical liaison between customers, AWS Service Teams, and Support by gathering feedback and driving feature requests.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data & analytics.
• 2+ years of experience in design, implementation, or consulting related to applications and infrastructures.
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in software or Internet industries.
• Experience in software development or Internet-related industries.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud.
• Experience working with AWS technologies from a development or operations perspective.
