Job Summary
The Elastic Engineer will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Elastic environments, including deploying and managing clusters and optimizing performance. The role involves developing search solutions and working with observability tools.
Responsibilities
- Install and manage Elastic clusters and develop search solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot Elastic environments.
- Create tools for monitoring and managing applications and infrastructure.
- Evaluate and optimize Elastic clusters.
- Design ETL data pipelines and configure index templates.
- Enhance infrastructure uptime and performance metrics.
- Maintain and update deployment and process documentation.
- Develop alerts, KPI dashboards, and automate alert management tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.
- 5 years of experience with the Elastic stack.
- Proficiency in Linux, GitHub, UNIX scripting, SQL, and regex.
- Knowledge of Windows authentication and administration.
- Experience with APM tools, behavioral analytics, and machine learning.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, network analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Certified Elastic Engineer is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to KSA.
