National Reporting, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Job Summary

The National Reporting, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer supports the implementation of monitoring and evaluation activities for projects and programmes within the IOM OPT Mission. The role involves contributing to report drafting and review in accordance with internal and donor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and updating the overall M&E framework for IOM OPT, including indicators and tools for various monitoring processes.
• Ensure financial planning and oversight of M&E activities, including budgeting, expenditure monitoring, and budget adjustments.
• Support integration of protection, gender, and inclusion in monitoring frameworks and tools.
• Support planning and coordination of evaluations, including drafting Terms of Reference and facilitating evaluation missions.
• Coordinate third-party monitoring activities, including preparation of scopes of work and review of reports.
• Support regular progress tracking, data verification, and quality checks for monitoring data.
• Assist in preparing donor reports and analytical inputs, ensuring coherence between narrative and quantitative data.
• Contribute to capacity-building activities on M&E, RBM, data collection, accountability, and reporting.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in relevant fields with two years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree with four years of experience.
• Technical knowledge in project development, quantitative and qualitative M&E methods, and reporting.
• Experience in RBM, logical frameworks, M&E system implementation, and report writing.
• Proven experience in data management, analysis, and reporting in humanitarian contexts.
• Strong analytical, organizational, writing, presentation, and facilitation skills.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office and working knowledge of databases and statistical tools.
• Fluency in English required; Arabic fluency is an advantage.
