Sr. Geotechnical Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Geotechnical Engineer will lead geotechnical engineering efforts for construction and infrastructure projects, managing investigations, analysis, design, and site activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical engineering tasks across construction and infrastructure projects.
• Review geotechnical investigations, soil reports, site data, and lab test results.
• Conduct and review geotechnical analysis and design for foundations, earthworks, slopes, retaining structures, and excavation.
• Provide technical recommendations based on geotechnical conditions and project needs.
• Evaluate contractor submissions, method statements, technical reports, and design documents.
• Perform site inspections and oversee geotechnical and earthwork operations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines.
• Identify and resolve geotechnical issues during design and construction phases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering and construction projects.
• Experience with geotechnical investigations, analysis, design, and site supervision.
• Previous work experience with engineering consultancy firms.
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, foundations, earthworks, slopes, and retaining structures.
• Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with large-scale construction and infrastructure projects is preferred.
• Saudi/GCC project experience is preferred.
