BSS Services Sr. Engineer

Job Summary

This role involves designing, developing, configuring, integrating, and maintaining Oracle BSS platforms and solutions to ensure they meet business and technical requirements with scalability, performance, security, and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Oracle BSS solutions across various domains including CRM, Product Catalog, Order Management, Billing, Charging, Revenue Management, and Subscription Management.
• Maintain and demonstrate BSS functionalities, workflows, APIs, custom components, and integrations to fulfill business and operational needs.
• Integrate BSS platforms with OSS, Digital Channels, ERP, payment gateways, data platforms, middleware, API gateways, and external systems.
• Lead configuration and optimization of BSS products, business rules, pricing models, product offerings, charging rules, billing cycles, discounts, and customer lifecycle processes.
• Perform software development tasks such as coding, database development, unit testing, debugging, code reviews, performance tuning, and defect resolution.
• Conduct impact analysis, technical design, solution implementation, system testing, and production validation for projects, change requests, and enhancements.
• Analyze and resolve application, integration, database, and production issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage BSS upgrades, patches, releases, data migration, and post-production support to maintain platform performance, scalability, security, and reliability.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 4-7 years of experience in a related field.
• Relevant certifications in BSS, Telecom, IT, Cloud, Enterprise Architecture, or related technologies are preferred.
