Aquatic & Wellness Systems Engineer

Job Summary

The Aquatic & Wellness Systems Engineer is responsible for managing the operation, maintenance, and performance of aquatic and wellness systems in fitness clubs, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, and a quality experience for members.

Responsibilities

• Manage swimming pools and water treatment systems to maintain water quality and safety standards.
• Oversee the operation of sauna, steam, ice bath, and hydrotherapy systems.
• Create and execute preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and prolong equipment lifespan.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and water quality regulations.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and perform root cause analysis on system failures.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for system support.
• Review technical designs and assist with new projects, commissioning, and system handovers.
• Monitor system performance and suggest improvements for efficiency.
• Respond to emergencies to reduce operational disruptions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in aquatic systems, water treatment, or MEP maintenance.
• Strong understanding of water chemistry and treatment systems.
• Experience in facilities such as fitness clubs, hospitality, or large complexes is preferred.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards and compliance requirements.
