Senior AI Engineer Consultant

Job Summary

The Senior AI Engineer Consultant will design and develop enterprise-level large language model (LLM) applications, optimize AI workloads, and evaluate AI models for various use cases. The role involves working with both open-source and commercial AI models and building reusable AI components.

Responsibilities

• Create enterprise-grade LLM applications using methods like RAG, tool calling, structured generation, prompt engineering, and agentic workflows.
• Implement and enhance LLM inference including model serving, quantization, caching, batching, and GPU use when applicable.
• Develop frameworks to evaluate LLMs on accuracy, relevance, hallucination, safety, latency, and cost.
• Assess and work with open-source and commercial foundation models for specific applications.
• Build reusable components for AI applications such as knowledge retrieval, model gateways, evaluation pipelines, and agent orchestration.

Requirements

• Deploy AI/ML workloads across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GPU infrastructure, and cloud AI/ML services.
• Implement model versioning, experiment tracking, monitoring, logging, and automated deployment pipelines.
• Optimize AI workloads for scalability, reliability, latency, and cost efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and improve production AI systems continuously.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems (CIS), AI or Data.
• 7+ years of experience in AI Engineering.
• Experience working with clients, government, consulting, GCC, or Saudi market.
• Strong communication, presentation, stakeholder management, interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving, consulting mindset, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
