Job Summary
The Deputy CTO will assist in leading the organization’s technology efforts, focusing on backend development and supporting the CTO in technical and strategic decisions.
Responsibilities
- Assist the CTO in managing technology development activities.
- Provide technical leadership and supervision for backend engineering projects.
- Support the design, development, and upkeep of backend systems and applications.
- Participate in decisions regarding technical architecture and scalable solutions.
- Analyze technical issues and suggest solutions.
- Help implement technology strategies and engineering priorities.
- Enhance backend development processes, system performance, and technical capabilities.
- Work collaboratively with the CTO and other stakeholders on technology initiatives.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of experience in software development and related technology roles.
- Extensive hands-on experience in backend development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven leadership and team management abilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and senior management.
