Remote Afterhours Driver Support Specialist

Job Summary

The Remote Afterhours Driver Support Specialist at Spotter Labs provides support to truck drivers across the U.S. during afterhours shifts, helping resolve issues to keep drivers and loads moving efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the initial contact for drivers facing problems during afterhours shifts.
• Listen to and understand driver concerns to quickly resolve issues.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and team members using Slack.
• Assist drivers with load, shipper, receiver, pickup, delivery, and location-related issues.
• Use the Transportation Management System (TMS) to access load and related information.
• Contact brokers for additional instructions or information when needed.
• Communicate important updates clearly to all involved parties.
• Document issues and actions taken during shifts.

Must haves

• Strong spoken and written English skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in urgent situations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and quick thinking.
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of issues.
• Willingness to work night and weekend shifts from Jordan.

Nice to haves

• Experience in logistics, trucking, transportation, dispatch, customer support, operations, or call centers.
• Experience communicating with customers or drivers in English.
• Familiarity with transportation management systems or logistics software.
• Previous experience working with U.S.-based teams or customers.
