Odoo accounting implementer

Job Summary

The Odoo Accounting Implementer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Amman. It involves analyzing clients’ accounting processes and configuring Odoo accounting modules to comply with local and regional regulations.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clients’ accounting and financial processes and gather requirements.
• Configure Odoo accounting modules including charts of accounts, taxes, and fiscal positions.
• Migrate and validate financial data within Odoo.
• Ensure accurate integration of accounting with other Odoo modules such as sales, inventory, and projects.
• Test and troubleshoot system configurations regularly.
• Prepare documentation related to accounting workflows and system setups.
• Train end users on accounting workflows and best practices within Odoo.
• Provide ongoing support and collaborate with consultants and technical teams to improve implementation methodologies.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles including general ledger, budgeting, financial reporting, and tax concepts.
• Hands-on experience implementing or configuring Odoo or similar ERP accounting modules.
• Skills in business process analysis and documentation to translate client requirements into system configurations.
• Competence in data migration, basic SQL or database concepts, and testing configured solutions.
• Effective communication and client-facing skills including training and user support.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• Experience with ERP implementations in the MENA region and familiarity with local financial and tax regulations is a plus.
• Proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are highly beneficial.
