DevOps – Application Specialist – Fintech

Job Summary

This role involves managing and optimizing application delivery, deployment automation, and production support for fintech platforms, ensuring secure and scalable environments while supporting CI/CD, monitoring, and incident resolution.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, deployments, and release management.
  • Provide production support by troubleshooting and conducting root cause analysis of incidents.
  • Manage application configurations and deployment processes across development, UAT, pre-production, and production environments.
  • Monitor application health, logs, performance, availability, and integrations to maintain operational stability.
  • Support fintech applications related to lending, payments, wallets, reconciliation, and operational systems.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and business teams to ensure release readiness and production stability.
  • Implement monitoring, alerting, observability, and performance optimization for applications.
  • Support containerization, automation, scripting, and infrastructure/application deployment activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3–6+ years of experience in DevOps, application support, or production operations.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins/GitLab CI, deployment automation, and release management.
  • Experience supporting Linux-based applications, APIs, middleware, and microservices environments.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, scripting (Shell/Python), monitoring, and log analysis tools.
  • Experience with application troubleshooting, incident management, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of SQL, REST APIs, and troubleshooting integration.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, lending, wallets, or regulated environments is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of lending lifecycle, payment processing, reconciliation, and transaction-heavy systems.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Grafana, ELK, AppDynamics.
  • Experience with cloud environments including OCI, AWS, Azure and containerized deployments.
  • Strong ownership, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
