Job Summary

The Cards Portfolio Management Specialist will provide strategic advisory and execution support to optimize the cards portfolio, focusing on key performance indicators such as activation, spend, and authorization. The role involves driving growth through strategic planning, campaign execution, and portfolio optimization using data analytics and partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze portfolio trends to develop strategies for improving activation, usage, and retention.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to grow the credit card portfolio aligned with business goals.
  • Manage customer engagement and balance growth initiatives, including end-to-end campaign management across channels.
  • Support credit card installment plan strategies by designing payment plans and optimizing sales and revenue.
  • Design and execute lifecycle campaigns and customer engagement programs with full campaign management and communication.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth campaign and offer execution.
  • Optimize portfolio performance through segmentation, targeting, and personalized offers.
  • Provide support for campaign rollout, tracking, reporting, and ensure alignment on objectives and compliance.

Requirements

  • Experience with cards cross-border payments, e-commerce, and merchant partnerships.
  • Proven skills in campaign execution, customer segmentation, and performance analytics.
  • 12+ years in banking, payments, or consulting focused on credit card portfolio optimization and digital engagement, preferably with regional experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • Knowledge of Cards P&L, revenue, loyalty programs, and campaign management is a plus.
  • Fluent in English; Arabic fluency preferred.
  • Strong client interaction skills and relationship-building interest.
  • Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; project management tools knowledge preferred.
  • Results-driven with a focus on achieving targets and KPIs.
  • Creative thinker with leadership and project management abilities.
  • Customer-centric approach focused on delivering value and service.
  • Relevant experience includes 8-10 years in cards portfolio management, customer lifecycle management, and spend/balance build campaigns.
