Senior Smart Buildings / Technology Consultant

Job Summary

This role leads design packages and mentors junior team members while acting as a Group Leader on smart buildings and cities projects, focusing on strategy and technology integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of smart building and city strategies during design phases.
• Collaborate with clients to define technology goals and develop smart enablement plans.
• Manage system architecture, integration planning, and documentation of interfaces.
• Perform technology validation reviews and assess submittals for compliance.
• Support commissioning strategies and conduct post-occupancy testing of smart systems.
• Ensure design quality, consistency, and alignment with digital trends.
• Work across disciplines to resolve coordination issues and prepare for digital readiness.
• Contribute to research and development and create internal tools and templates to standardize processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, ICT, or Building Services Engineering; Master’s degree is advantageous.
• Extensive experience in consulting, designing, or integrating smart systems.
• Strong knowledge of smart technology standards, system integration, and platform architecture.
