Technical Sales Specialist – Clinical Diagnostics

Job Summary

The Technical Sales Specialist supports sales by providing technical expertise, training, and demonstrations for clinical diagnostic solutions. This role collaborates with sales teams and customers to optimize laboratory workflows and enhance product value.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and training for analytical and scientific solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales teams and customers to deliver product demonstrations and applications support.
  • Serve as a scientific advisor to help customers optimize workflows and maximize investment value.
  • Work across multiple technology platforms offering pre- and post-sales technical expertise.
  • Develop new applications and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers and internal teams.
  • Coordinate with sales, marketing, R&D, and product management to ensure customer success.
  • Contribute to business growth through technical excellence.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Technology, or related Life Sciences field.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Saudi Arabia.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Clinical Diagnostics with hands-on exposure to clinical pathology laboratories and diagnostic testing environments.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth, identify business opportunities, and conduct consultative selling.
  • Experience in roles such as Technical Sales Specialist, Applications Specialist, or Product Specialist involving training, support, implementation, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of QC principles, data interpretation, troubleshooting, assay performance, and quality practices.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strong presentation and training skills for technical and non-technical groups.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a results-driven environment.
  • Experience in project management and handling multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant scientific software.
  • Customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and customers.
  • Fluency in Arabic and English.
  • Valid driver’s license and passport for travel.
