Job Summary

This role involves supporting cloud transformation projects through advisory, architecture, engineering, and implementation tasks, focusing on Azure and AWS platforms. Candidates may focus on architecture or engineering depending on their expertise and interview results.

Responsibilities

• Lead or assist in architectural design sessions to define cloud platform architectures using Azure or AWS frameworks and principles.
• Establish landing zone standards including identity, access management, networking, governance, policy, tagging, logging, resilience, and observability.
• Design account structures and onboarding standards for Azure Management Groups, Subscriptions, AWS Organizations, OUs, and Accounts under unified governance.
• Create enterprise connectivity blueprints covering hub-and-spoke, Transit or Virtual WAN, private connectivity, DNS resolution, and firewall patterns.
• Govern platform decisions through architecture reviews, decision logs, trade-offs documentation, exception governance, and controls.
• Implement Azure landing zones and onboarding using Infrastructure as Code modules such as Terraform.
• Deliver network foundations including virtual networks, Virtual WAN, DNS, routing, ExpressRoute, VPN, Private Link, and firewall configurations.
• Deploy and configure Kubernetes clusters (AKS/EKS), container registries, Docker, Helm, cluster add-ons, and operational readiness checks.
• Apply governance guardrails like Azure Policy, AWS SCPs, resource tagging, diagnostic settings, and logging.
• Implement identity and access patterns including RBAC, least privilege, service principals, and managed identities per security baselines.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root-cause analysis, and propose fixes aligned with standards.
• Produce operational handover documents such as runbooks, monitoring dashboards, escalation paths, and support readiness materials.
• Contribute to reusable intellectual property including blueprints, IaC modules, templates, checklists, and decision guides.
• Collaborate with architects, security teams, developers, operations, and client stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in cloud architecture, engineering, infrastructure, platform delivery, or enterprise technology transformation.
• Hands-on experience with Azure and/or AWS covering cloud foundations, landing zones, governance, networking, identity, security, and observability.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform; knowledge of Bicep/ARM or CloudFormation is advantageous.
• Strong fundamentals in enterprise networking including VNets/VPCs, subnetting, DNS, load balancing, firewall rules, and private connectivity.
• Experience with Kubernetes, containers, Docker, Helm, AKS/EKS, monitoring, logging, or operational readiness is a plus.
• Ability to create clear, structured documentation and consulting-grade deliverables for clients and operational handover.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
