Account Services Specialist

Job Summary

The Account Services Specialist supports customers by managing billing inquiries, subscription updates, and account maintenance within the Customer Success team. This role bridges customer support and financial operations, ensuring accurate and compliant account management while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions about invoices, account balances, and billing.
• Manage subscription modifications, renewals, cancellations, and contractual matters.
• Handle account ownership transfers and update customer information.
• Provide clear and empathetic support through phone and email communication.
• Explain billing details, financial terms, and service changes professionally to customers.
• Document and track cases using Salesforce or similar systems, ensuring timely follow-up.
• Work with Finance, Customer Success, and Product teams to resolve account-related issues.
• Identify and escalate recurring problems or trends as needed.

Must haves

• 1–3 years of experience in customer support, billing, or account services.
• Knowledge of invoicing, subscription billing, and account management processes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex or technical information clearly to customers.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
• Ability to manage a high-volume workload independently.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Nice to haves

• Experience with subscription billing platforms like Zuora.
• Background in SaaS, technology, healthcare, or account management environments.
