Devops Engineer, Senior

Job Summary

The Senior Devops Engineer at Adree is responsible for supporting product development and platform automation by designing, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable infrastructure solutions that enable automated software delivery and reliable system deployment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to collect platform requirements and understand automation objectives.
• Create presentations and documentation showcasing CI/CD capabilities such as agent pool management, environment provisioning, and enterprise pipeline design.
• Develop reusable pipeline templates and secure shared libraries within Azure DevOps Server to assist product and engineering teams.
• Provide DevOps expertise throughout the product lifecycle, including enforcing branching strategies, optimizing build runner performance, and maintaining Linux-based runner systems.
• Work with Security and QA teams to manage third-party libraries, integrate OpenText security tools like Fortify SCA, and embed automated testing frameworks.
• Keep up to date with trends in containerization, automation workflows, and infrastructure delivery to effectively position solutions.
• Conduct workshops for internal teams and clients on GitOps delivery and workload promotion using Argo CD on OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms.
• Participate in Agile development and release processes by integrating monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, BMC, and Azure Monitoring and driving production deployment patterns.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• 6-10+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and build & release automation in enterprise environments.
• Hands-on experience with production delivery including scaling live environments.
• Experience in government, regulated, or complex enterprise sectors is highly preferred.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipeline engineering, secure pipeline patterns, agent pool configuration, and advanced branching strategies.
• Strong practical experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and Red Hat OpenShift.
• Skills in infrastructure automation using Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform), configuration management (Ansible), Linux administration, and scripting.
• Familiarity with enterprise artifact and dependency management tools such as JFrog Artifactory and handling of binary artifacts and third-party libraries.
• Analytical skills to implement secure application pipelines involving Fortify SCA, HashiCorp Vault secrets, and Sigstore / SecurEnvoy MFA verification.
• Strong communication, coaching mindset, cross-team collaboration, and high ownership and accountability.
