Senior Principal – Data Engineering

Job Summary

This role involves providing expert leadership in designing and implementing enterprise-scale Data Lakehouse solutions, focusing on scalable data platforms and big data architectures to support analytics and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the Data Lakehouse architecture strategy aligned with business and technology goals.
• Establish architectural standards and technical roadmaps for enterprise data platforms.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging big data technologies to meet strategic objectives.
• Maintain and enhance enterprise data catalog for improved data discoverability and metadata management.
• Lead development of scalable data pipelines and set standards for data ingestion, transformation, and integration.
• Optimize data platform performance and scalability through monitoring and capacity planning.
• Define engineering standards and ensure alignment with governance, security, and compliance.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and capability development for engineering teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 10–12 years of experience in Data Engineering, Big Data Platforms, Data Architecture, Business Intelligence, or Analytics Platforms.
