Solutions Engineer, Portfolio – KSA

Job Summary

This role involves leveraging the Cisco portfolio to design and deliver technical solutions that support customers’ strategic business objectives, focusing on networking, security, cloud, and AI architectures.

Responsibilities

• Utilize Cisco’s full portfolio to create and implement transformative technical solutions aligned with customer goals.
• Design multi-architecture solutions encompassing networking, security, cloud, and AI to establish resilient platforms for digital success.
• Lead technical strategy and customized proofs-of-value to showcase possibilities and address critical technical challenges.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders, guiding them through complex IT and AI opportunities.
• Provide feedback to Cisco’s engineering and product teams to influence future product development.

Must haves

• Extensive experience in pre-sales engineering or a similar customer-facing technical role.
• Strong technical expertise in at least two areas among Enterprise Networking, Data Center, Security, or Collaboration.
• Experience delivering technical presentations to internal or external audiences.
• Proven ability to manage technical relationships with customers and partners.

Nice to haves

• Comprehensive understanding of technology domain intersections, such as security integration with cloud strategy.
• Experience leading complex technical sales cycles for large enterprise accounts.
• Ability to communicate technical vision and translate it into business outcomes for executives.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP, and their integration with on-premise and hybrid infrastructures.
• Passion for continuous learning and mentoring, with certifications like CCIE or CCDE valued.
