Job Summary

The Senior Dry Utilities Engineer at AtkinsRéalis in Riyadh will support multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across the GCC, focusing on planning, design, and engineering of dry utilities networks including power, substations, street lighting, telecommunications, and renewable energy.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data related to dry utilities projects.
• Provide technical support for large multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Report on the performance of projects.
• Ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture within the team.
• Contribute to building a motivated and high-performing team and support individual development.
• Offer technical expertise on various large engineering projects.
• Enhance networking with internal and external clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in dry utilities engineering with significant GCC/UAE infrastructure project exposure.
• Proven leadership in managing complex multidisciplinary infrastructure and utilities projects.
• Extensive knowledge of power distribution systems, substations, street lighting, telecommunications, ICT, and security infrastructure.
• Experience in utility coordination and securing authority approvals for major developments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, DIALux, and related engineering software.
• Strong skills in project management, design management, and construction support.
• Excellent communication, technical report writing, and presentation abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Commercial awareness with ability to manage project budgets and resources.
• Experience in sustainable infrastructure, renewable energy integration, and smart city projects is advantageous.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced multidisciplinary environment.
