Systems Engineer – Riyadh (KSA)

Job Summary

The Systems Engineer in Riyadh will collaborate closely with sales representatives to provide technical support throughout pre-sales, sales calls, and post-sales phases.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical activities during the sales cycle with Enterprise customers, including managing RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and participating in POCs with internal teams and customers or partners.
• Understand customer technical requirements deeply to design superior solutions compared to competitors.
• Serve as the main technical contact for customers and partners alongside the sales team.
• Continuously enhance knowledge of Fortinet products, solutions, and competitive landscape to address evolving security threats.
• Effectively position Fortinet solutions to customers through presentations, whiteboarding, technical documents, and discussions, both remotely and in person.
• Manage time efficiently while handling multiple deals to ensure a positive customer experience.
• Keep accurate records of activities, contacts, and technical account information in Salesforce CRM.

Requirements

• Strong aptitude for security technologies including encryption and authentication; knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, anti-virus, routing, switching, LAN, and WAN is desirable.
• Experience in a pre-sales engineer role managing technical aspects of deals through to closure.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills impacting key wins.
• Ability to build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technically with various stakeholders.
• Good understanding of RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, and 3DES.
