Facade Engineer

Job Summary

The Facade Engineer will develop and deliver facade engineering solutions for complex projects in Riyadh, ensuring designs meet client needs, timelines, and budgets while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Create facade and structural engineering designs from concept through construction support.
• Plan projects and coordinate resources to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Prepare tender documents, design specifications, and deliverables compliant with client and local codes.
• Collaborate with internal teams, architects, and external parties to integrate facade designs.
• Maintain professional client relationships through transparent and productive communication.
• Analyze facade systems like curtain walls, glazing, cladding, and specialist systems for performance and cost.
• Assist the team in problem-solving and advancing facade engineering innovations.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience in facade engineering or a related role, preferably in consultancy.
• Experience with curtain wall systems, glazing, cladding, and specialist facade systems.
• Proficiency in software such as REVIT, BIM, SpaceGass, or similar design tools.
• Knowledge of project management including budgets, timelines, and client requirements.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and quality assurance capabilities.
• Experience with high-rise or complex facade systems in challenging environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian and GCC building codes and standards is preferred.
• Experience working in multicultural, collaborative teams is preferred.
• Knowledge of sustainable facade design and energy-efficient building envelopes is preferred.
• Problem-solving skills and innovative thinking in facade engineering are preferred.
• Professional engineering licensure or relevant certifications in structural or facade engineering are preferred.
