SATCOM Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Support

Job Summary

C3EL is seeking a cleared professional to support day-to-day maintenance and operation of satellite communication terminals in Amman, Jordan. The role requires expertise in tactical and commercial SATCOM equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate assigned satellite communication terminals on a daily basis.
• Demonstrate proficiency with satellite modems, redundancy switches, up/down converters, amplifiers, antennas, antenna control units, and related cabling and interconnects.
• Operate and maintain HVAC units, uninterruptible power supplies, and generators as applicable.
• Prepare technical documentation for SAR, GAR, TSR, and ASI requests.
• Use test measurement and diagnostic equipment including power meters, spectrum analyzers, Firebird testers, and volt meters.
• Support both tactical satellite environments and commercial satellite operations.

Must haves

• Active, in-scope Secret security clearance.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Minimum two years of experience supporting installation, repair, troubleshooting, or maintenance of satellite communications electronic systems or equipment.
• Minimum two years of experience operating in a tactical satellite environment, including antenna controllers, SSPA, LNA/LNB, up/down converters, fiber optic, coax, Ethernet cables, FDMA and TDMA modems, and Modem Hub operations.
• Experience and proficiency with commercial and military satellite TDMA/FDMA modems.
• Meet applicable DCWF DoD 8140 requirements for 411-Technical Support Specialist, Basic through certifications such as A+, CND, Network+, Security+, or other DoD 8140-approved higher-level certifications, or equivalent military training or education.
• Valid U.S. passport.
• Ability to travel up to 10% to support mission.
