Product Designer

Job Summary

SILQFi is seeking a Founding Product Designer to build the Buyer App experience for FINA, a B2B fintech platform offering embedded Buy Now Pay Later and Supply Chain Finance. You will be the first full-time designer, working directly with leadership to bring B2C-grade design to B2B credit and finance workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own the Buyer App experience end to end across web and mobile, from SME onboarding to finance manager dashboards showing credit utilization.
• Adapt proven patterns from global fintech companies (Klarna, Affirm, Tabby, Tamara) and apply them to B2B and the local environment.
• Build a consistent, modern design system with generous white space and rounded edges across the Buyer App, merchant panel and embedded touchpoints.
• Design for trust by helping merchants understand credit terms and managing complexity without obscuring critical information.
• Establish design standards, processes and quality benchmarks that scale as the company grows toward broader banking capabilities.

Requirements

• Proven experience designing products in high-stakes domains such as financial services, healthcare or enterprise software where user confusion has real consequences.
• Track record of shipping live products from concept through production, not just prototypes.
• Deep empathy for end users who may find financial terminology intimidating and need to feel confident rather than lectured.
• Comfort working with ambiguity and making design decisions quickly in conversation rather than through committees.
• BNPL or consumer fintech design experience demonstrating understanding of credit, repayment and trust-building flows.
• RTL (Right-to-Left) design experience for Arabic interfaces, given the MENA user base.
• Experience building design systems from scratch and maintaining team adherence to them.
