Back End Developer

Job Summary

The Backend Developer designs, builds and maintains robust, secure and scalable backend services using .NET and .NET Core for digital healthcare platforms. The role requires expertise in modern .NET backend fundamentals, microservices architecture, API security and cloud-native delivery practices.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong understanding of .NET Core fundamentals including Dependency Injection, Inversion of Control, middleware pipeline and Entity Framework Core data access.
• Build robust and maintainable backend services using ASP.NET Core fundamentals.
• Design and develop microservices architecture using .NET Core following established best practices.
• Implement security features using ASP.NET Core Identity for authentication, authorization and related security best practices.
• Develop RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core MVC in line with API design standards.
• Secure APIs using OAuth2 and JWT, managing user authentication and authorization end-to-end.
• Apply advanced skills in Entity Framework Core and related data access components and services.
• Integrate .NET applications with CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to support continuous delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on backend development experience using .NET technologies.
• .NET and .NET Core expertise.
• ASP.NET Core MVC and RESTful APIs.
• Microservices Architecture knowledge.
• Entity Framework Core proficiency.
• ASP.NET Core Identity for authentication and authorization.
• OAuth2 and JWT for API security.
• API Management, Kubernetes, SQL and Cosmos DB.
• OWASP application security best practices.
• Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines, Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and fluency in English.
