Presales Engineer

Job Summary

IDEMIA Public Security seeks a Presales Engineer to support sales activities and deliver technical expertise during customer engagements. The role involves conducting technical presentations, managing proof of concept activities, and defining solution architectures for biometric and security solutions across the Middle East region.

Responsibilities

• Support the Regional Sales Director in customer meetings and business development activities
• Deliver technical presentations, workshops and product demonstrations of IDEMIA solutions
• Lead technical discovery sessions to understand customer requirements and business challenges
• Support Proof of Concept activities from planning through completion, including configuration and deployment
• Act as primary technical contact for customers, partners and system integrators during evaluations and POCs
• Define solution architectures and recommend suitable products and services to meet customer needs
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs and customer presentations
• Travel across Saudi Arabia and the wider Middle East region as required for customer engagements

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical, integration, pre-sales or solutions engineering role
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience working with biometric technologies, identity management, physical access control or security solutions
• Experience supporting customer demonstrations, technical workshops, proof of concepts and solution design activities
• Strong understanding of solution architecture, systems integration principles and enterprise infrastructure environments
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills with ability to engage technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working collaboratively with customers, partners and system integrators
• Experience in government, airport, transportation, public security or critical infrastructure environments is highly desirable
