AI Deployment Strategist

Job Summary

Systems Limited seeks an AI Deployment Strategist to lead technical discovery, requirements translation, and solution scoping for AI/ML client engagements. The role bridges business needs and technical delivery, managing client relationships and defining success criteria throughout the presales pursuit phase.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical discovery sessions to assess client data, systems, and AI readiness
• Translate business requirements into structured, buildable use cases and scope
• Define success criteria and evaluation methodology before solution build begins
• Draft technical proposal narratives including architecture, risk assessment, and delivery approach
• Evaluate technical compliance requirements such as data residency, security, and regulatory obligations
• Collaborate with Field CTO/Solution Architect to validate scope feasibility within budget and timeline
• Manage day-to-day client relationships during pursuit to keep technical staff focused on delivery
• Lead stakeholder workshops and client presentations, translating technical scope into executive business cases

Requirements

• 15–20 years in technology or solutions consulting with substantial, hands-on experience in AI/ML or data projects
• Technical depth sufficient to conduct credible architecture discussions, not merely relay requirements
• Proficiency in structured discovery methodologies such as design thinking, use-case prioritization, and jobs-to-be-done
• Working knowledge of technical compliance and regulatory frameworks relevant to AI, including data residency and EU AI Act
• Familiarity with major cloud AI platforms—Microsoft Azure AI Foundry, AWS Bedrock, and Google Vertex AI—for scoping conversations
• Understanding of delivery methodology to scope realistic PoC-to-production paths
• Demonstrated ability to write clearly for executive audiences
• Skilled facilitation and active-listening abilities to uncover underlying problems
• Executive-level presentation skills for client oral defense sessions
• Ability to manage scope-creep conversations diplomatically while maintaining client relationships
