Data Scientist – AI Economics Unit

Job Summary

Join Whiteshield’s AI Economics unit to combine artificial intelligence, machine learning, and economic modelling to extract actionable intelligence from data sources including satellite imagery, trade data, and macroeconomic indicators. You will design data pipelines, build interactive dashboards, and create strategy tools that inform policy and business decisions.

Responsibilities

• Apply AI and machine learning techniques to economic and policy challenges
• Conduct geospatial analysis on satellite imagery and related datasets
• Design and automate data pipelines for processing economic and trade data
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and ranking systems
• Build strategy tools and simulation platforms for government and corporate clients
• Extract actionable intelligence from macroeconomic indicators and alternative data sources
• Communicate findings and recommendations with clarity to senior stakeholders
