Job Summary
FundingPips is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to establish and develop the platform engineering function, with a focus on enhancing developer experience across engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable, reliable internal platforms and self-service capabilities
- Automate infrastructure and reduce environment provisioning timelines from days to minutes
- Implement and drive AWS, Terraform, CI/CD and GitOps practices
- Define and establish security, compliance and observability standards
- Partner with development teams to translate their requirements into platform solutions
Must haves
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering
- Strong expertise in AWS and Terraform
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, GitOps and automation
- Experience with Kubernetes/ECS and observability tools
- Strong problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English with excellent verbal and written communication
Nice to haves
- Experience with Spacelift, Cloudflare, or Datadog
- Familiarity with Backstage/Port, service mesh or API gateways
- Background in fintech or trading environments
