Engagement Manager

Job Summary

As Engagement Manager for Scale’s Global Public Sector team, you will establish and maintain relationships with government entities and research institutions, identify opportunities for custom AI applications, oversee project execution, and ensure successful delivery of Scale’s services in the public sector.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value use cases for custom LLMs within government entities
• Partner with clients to understand their challenges and determine how Scale can provide solutions
• Manage long-term client health by identifying and addressing potential risks or concerns
• Serve as primary point of contact for client questions, issues, and concerns, triaging as needed
• Collaborate with operational and engineering teams to track delivery and meet timelines
• Monitor and improve operational performance with focus on continuous improvement
• Work with premier research institutions building Arabic LLMs to identify support opportunities and ideas for testing

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of total work experience, including consulting or technical program management roles
• Written and spoken fluency in English and Arabic
• Experience at a consulting firm or leading tech company
• Proven track record in B2B/B2G client-facing roles with demonstrated ability to expand client relationships
• Ability to understand APIs and ML training lifecycle while building relationships with technical customers
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Track record of structured, analytics-driven problem solving
• Demonstrated diligence and organization across multiple work streams
• Action-oriented mindset balancing creative problem solving with ability to deliver results
• Analytical, planning, and process improvement capabilities
