Transport Data Science Manager

Job Summary

Lead the development of data-driven intelligence across a mobility ecosystem for one of Saudi Arabia’s largest programmes. This role delivers advanced transport data models, AI-enabled insights, and scalable cloud-based data platforms with robust governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of integrated transport data strategies across all mobility modes, defining use cases, KPIs, and performance frameworks aligned to business and customer outcomes.
• Deliver advanced analytics and AI solutions, including predictive modelling for demand, ridership, fleet optimisation, traffic management, safety, and customer insights.
• Enable scalable, cloud-based data and AI architectures supporting personalised mobility experiences and seamless integration with autonomous vehicle and MaaS platforms.
• Establish and maintain robust data governance and knowledge management frameworks, ensuring data quality, compliance, traceability, and effective lifecycle management of data assets and models.
• Collaborate towards net zero carbon transition goals and manage identification and reduction of associated carbon emissions during work delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, Data Engineering, AI/Machine Learning, Transport Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years of proven experience in transport data engineering and AI/ML.
• GCC experience highly regarded.
• Necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Relevant work experience on high-valued projects or programmes for a project management consultancy business, required for immigration and client approval.
