Senior HPC Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior HPC Engineer will design and define AI infrastructure requirements and support technical evaluations for AI platforms in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities

• Translate AI use-case needs into compute, GPU, storage, networking, and platform specifications.
• Define infrastructure for AI training, inference, model serving, and related environments.
• Create GPU and compute sizing models based on workload and performance criteria.
• Specify requirements for AI platforms, GPU clusters, inference setups, and orchestration platforms.
• Assist in evaluating and selecting AI infrastructure and platform solutions.
• Coordinate with HPC, infrastructure, network, storage, and data center teams for technical alignment.
• Support workshops, proof-of-concepts, benchmarking, testing, and validation activities.
• Review vendor AI solutions and prepare technical recommendations and documentation.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in AI engineering, machine learning engineering, AI infrastructure, or related areas.
• Fluency in English.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML workloads and their compute, GPU, storage, and networking needs.
• Knowledge of GPU computing, AI accelerators, AI inference, and AI platforms.
• Experience with AI/HPC platforms and orchestration tools such as NVIDIA BCM, SLURM, Kubernetes, Run:ai, or equivalents.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Kubernetes, or similar technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or equivalent.
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) is a plus.
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) is a plus.
