Job Summary

The Solutions Architect role at Sustainable Smart Cities Co. in Amman involves designing comprehensive technical architectures aligned with client goals and the company’s smart city and ICT solutions. The position requires collaboration across teams and support throughout project phases.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze client requirements to develop scalable solution designs.
• Create architecture diagrams, technical specifications, and integration plans.
• Collaborate with consulting, engineering, software development, and project delivery teams.
• Support pre-sales activities and present solutions to stakeholders.
• Oversee integration efforts and conduct technical reviews.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Provide guidance during implementation, testing, and project handover.

Requirements

• Strong skills in designing scalable, secure, and integrated systems for enterprise or smart city environments.
• Consulting abilities to engage stakeholders and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Experience with software development concepts including APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Integration expertise to connect diverse systems and ensure interoperability and performance.
• Understanding of business processes to align technology with organizational workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications like TOGAF or cloud certifications are advantageous.
• Knowledge of ICT infrastructure, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, and smart building or IoT solutions is beneficial.
• Ability to produce clear technical documentation and presentations for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with teamwork orientation.
• Professional English proficiency; Arabic skills are a plus.
