Job Summary

This internship role at Zain Jordan involves supporting the Technology and Digital Innovation Department by assisting in software testing activities across mobile, web, and backend platforms during a one-year contract under the Zain Youth Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and executing test scenarios and cases for various software systems.
• Conduct system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and regression testing according to business needs.
• Record and track bugs and issues clearly using tools like JIRA until resolution.
• Work collaboratively with developers, business analysts, and product owners to maintain product quality and meet user expectations.
• Support QA reporting, dashboards, and testing automation efforts when applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as JIRA.
• Understanding of SQL for data validation and backend testing.
• Knowledge of APIs and tools like Postman or equivalents.
• Programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, JavaScript) are a plus.
• Attention to detail and strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Problem-solving, critical thinking, time management, prioritization, curiosity, and eagerness to learn.
