Job Summary
The Odoo ERP Developer is responsible for creating and customizing Odoo modules according to business needs, integrating Odoo with external systems, and supporting system maintenance and upgrades.
Responsibilities
- Develop and tailor Odoo modules based on specific business requirements.
- Enhance and modify existing Odoo functionalities and modules.
- Create integrations between Odoo and third-party systems using APIs.
- Identify and fix technical problems within the Odoo system.
- Collaborate with Odoo Functional Consultants to convert functional needs into technical implementations.
- Conduct testing, debugging, and optimize code performance.
- Develop and maintain reports and system customizations.
- Support Odoo implementations, upgrades, and ongoing maintenance.
- Keep accurate technical documentation up to date.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of practical experience in Odoo development.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL database.
- Experience with Odoo ORM, XML, QWeb, and APIs.
- Skilled in developing and customizing Odoo modules.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience in system integrations and REST APIs.
- Understanding of ERP systems and business processes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills in both Arabic and English.
