Senior Linux Administrator

Job Summary

The Senior Linux Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining enterprise Linux infrastructure, including Red Hat OpenShift environments and enterprise backup and recovery systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems in virtual and cloud environments.
• Automate system administration tasks using Ansible and scripting languages.
• Manage system lifecycle, patching, and provisioning via Red Hat Satellite Server.
• Implement and maintain Linux security policies and CIS benchmarks.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux infrastructure and performance issues.
• Administer Linux storage including disk partitioning, LVM, and file systems.
• Manage OpenShift user roles, cluster health, troubleshooting, upgrades, and backups.
• Operate enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam Backup & Replication and Dell EMC Data Domain, including monitoring, troubleshooting, and restore testing.

Requirements

• Hands-on administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux across virtual and cloud environments.
• Experience with Linux storage management including LVM and file systems.
• Proficiency in automation and scripting with Ansible, Bash, Python, and Perl.
• Knowledge of Red Hat OpenShift administration including RBAC, cluster monitoring, troubleshooting, upgrades, and disaster recovery.
• Experience with enterprise backup solutions including Veeam Backup & Replication and Dell EMC storage platforms.
• Understanding of Linux security policies, access controls, and CIS benchmarks.
• Experience managing Red Hat Satellite Server for system lifecycle management.
• Ability to maintain technical documentation and collaborate with technical teams.
• Familiarity with object storage platforms such as Dell EMC ECS.
• Experience with backup strategies, data protection policies, and disaster recovery procedures.
