Data & Analytics Lead

Job Summary

The Data & Analytics Lead manages the Data, Analytics & AI team and oversees all aspects of the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), including data engineering, business intelligence, business analysis, and delivery. This role is the initial hire and participates in recruiting additional team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Jordan data hub team, including data engineers, BI specialists, and business analysts, handling daily management, performance, and development.
• Own the architecture, data models, and design standards of the Enterprise Data Warehouse.
• Supervise ETL/ELT design, pipeline development, data quality controls, and release management.
• Oversee the business intelligence and reporting roadmap, report standards, and reporting data layer.
• Manage business analysis activities such as requirements gathering, KPI definitions, source-to-target mapping, and UAT sign-off.
• Plan and prioritize the EDW delivery backlog, managing scope, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
• Ensure compliance with security, data-access, and governance policies.
• Report on delivery progress and key performance indicators.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in data warehouse design.
• Strong SQL skills and practical knowledge of ETL/ELT tools.
• Experience with enterprise data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Oracle, Teradata, or similar.
• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and metadata management.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI or Tableau and business analysis practices including requirements, KPI definition, and UAT.
• Experience managing delivery of data projects including planning, scope, risks, and dependencies.
• Skills in team leadership and stakeholder management.
• Experience with agile delivery methodologies and Jira.
