Job Summary
This role involves collaborating with software development teams to design, code, test, and maintain critical software components, while also participating in troubleshooting and mentoring.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software developers to design, code, and test software solutions focusing on critical components.
- Work alongside senior team members to fulfill project requirements and deadlines, including participating in design and code reviews.
- Assist in diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues during software development.
- Contribute to the creation and documentation of software requirements and specifications.
- Debug and resolve complex production problems in cooperation with senior engineers and support teams.
- Keep updated on new technologies and best practices, researching and suggesting innovative solutions.
- Support mentoring and guiding junior team members by sharing knowledge and expertise.
- Take responsibility for challenging technical tasks and collaborate on architectural decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent education and experience.
- Typically 4+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 1 year in a similar software engineering role.
- Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
- Skilled in coding and debugging complex software components.
- Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to challenging technical tasks.
- Advanced degree in a related field is a plus.
- Relevant certifications or training are a plus.
