Job Summary
This role involves analyzing requirements, identifying gaps, and performing manual testing with some automation. It requires knowledge of Agile methodology and defect reporting.
Responsibilities
- Analyze requirements and identify gaps.
- Create test cases based on requirements.
- Execute test cases and report defects with severity and priority.
- Perform manual testing.
- Automation testing experience is advantageous.
- Use JIRA for issue tracking.
- Apply Agile methodology in work processes.
- Have awareness of payment systems.
Must haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in software testing or QA engineering.
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
Nice to haves
- Basic understanding of programming languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Experience with SOAPUI is a plus.
