The position requires managing drilling operations, sampling, in-situ testing, and collaboration with laboratory and geophysical teams to ensure efficient and safe fieldwork aligned with project standards.<\/p><h3>Responsibilities<\/h3><ul><li>Supervise geotechnical site investigations including borehole drilling, soil and rock sampling, and in-situ testing.<\/li><li>Manage and coordinate multiple drilling rigs, subcontractors, and site personnel.<\/li><li>Oversee borehole logging, sample collection, field testing, and documentation.<\/li><li>Ensure compliance of field activities with method statements, project specifications, and HSE requirements.<\/li><li>Coordinate with project managers, consultants, clients, and laboratory teams.<\/li><li>Monitor daily site progress, identify challenges, and implement solutions.<\/li><li>Prepare daily progress reports, field records, and technical documentation.<\/li><li>Support project planning, resource allocation, and scheduling to meet deadlines.<\/li><\/ul><h3>Requirements<\/h3><ul><li>Strong expertise in site investigation planning, supervision, and interpretation of field and in-situ testing.<\/li><li>Solid knowledge of soil behavior and characterization including classification, strength, compressibility, and permeability.<\/li><li>Advanced skills in geotechnical engineering including foundation, slope, earth pressure, and ground-support analysis.<\/li><li>Applied experience in engineering geology covering geological structures, stratigraphy, and rock mass characterization.<\/li><li>Proficiency in foundation design for shallow and deep foundations, retaining structures, and ground improvement.<\/li><li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or related field.<\/li><li>Several years of progressive geotechnical experience including site-based and client-facing roles, preferably in civil and infrastructure projects.<\/li><li>Familiarity with international codes and standards such as Eurocode, ASTM, BS, ISO and geotechnical software for analysis and design.<\/li><li>Strong leadership, communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.<\/li><li>Ability to work independently and manage field operations effectively.<\/li><li>Willingness to travel and work at project sites throughout Jordan.<\/li><li>Valid driving license required.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n<div
