This senior leadership role oversees projects from pre-construction design through commissioning and handover, ensuring technical robustness, safety, and commercial discipline.<\/p><h3>Responsibilities<\/h3><ul><li>Lead and develop the regional execution team, setting priorities, standards, and accountabilities aligned with group and country goals.<\/li><li>Build team capabilities through coaching, performance management, succession planning, and recruitment.<\/li><li>Engage with clients, EPC contractors, consultants, suppliers, and partners to resolve technical and execution issues.<\/li><li>Collaborate with Development, Commercial, Technical, Procurement, PMO, Finance, Legal, O&amp;M, and QHSSE teams to align execution requirements with project decisions.<\/li><li>Implement consistent project governance, reporting, lessons learned, and continuous improvement across the portfolio.<\/li><li>Provide technical leadership in pre-construction and detailed engineering, including design reviews and site suitability.<\/li><li>Lead or oversee technical negotiations ensuring requirements are reflected in tender packages and agreements.<\/li><li>Oversee grid connection and compliance with LV, MV, HV systems and relevant standards including SEC, SERA, and SASO.<\/li><li>Guide major equipment specification and selection for PV modules, inverters, BESS, transformers, and related systems.<\/li><li>Ensure robust energy yield and performance assessments including P50\/P90 analysis.<\/li><li>Oversee project delivery against approved scope, budget, and schedule, addressing risks early.<\/li><li>Manage contractor and supplier performance including coordination, progress, issue resolution, and change management.<\/li><li>Ensure QA\/QC across testing, inspections, commissioning, and warranty activities.<\/li><li>Ensure complete as-built documentation and handover to Operations &amp; Maintenance.<\/li><li>Promote strong QHSSE performance and safety leadership throughout execution activities.<\/li><\/ul><h3>Must haves<\/h3><ul><li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.<\/li><li>10+ years of relevant experience in solar PV, renewable energy, or power infrastructure, including 5+ years in senior management or leadership roles.<\/li><li>Proven leadership of multidisciplinary engineering and project delivery teams through development, construction, commissioning, and handover.<\/li><li>Extensive experience in EPC contracting, negotiation, contractor management, technical due diligence, and delivery governance.<\/li><li>Deep technical knowledge of solar PV, BESS, grid connection, and LV\/MV\/HV electrical infrastructure including protection and equipment selection.<\/li><li>Strong understanding of GCC grid and regulatory requirements, including local utilities and Grid Codes.<\/li><li>Commercial and contractual judgment to resolve complex technical and delivery issues.<\/li><li>Experience working in multinational matrix environments with multiple stakeholders.<\/li><\/ul><h3>Nice to haves<\/h3><ul><li>Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE).<\/li><li>Hands-on experience with PVsyst and design\/simulation tools such as SolarGIS, AutoCAD, SketchUp, PVcase, or HOMER.<\/li><li>Experience with C&amp;I,
