Chief Technology Officer at A27 will lead the technology and engineering efforts to develop a scalable, secure platform that enhances the asset lifecycle in private capital markets using AI and financial infrastructure.<\/p><h3>Responsibilities<\/h3><ul><li>Own the architecture and engineering roadmap from early product stages to scalable systems ensuring security and reliability.<\/li><li>Lead development of AI-enabled products that transform complex financial data into structured intelligence.<\/li><li>Build and manage a modern data platform for financial data ingestion, processing, structuring, serving, and monitoring.<\/li><li>Implement responsible AI practices including accuracy, model monitoring, explainability, and human-in-the-loop review.<\/li><li>Develop integration layers with financial institutions, market participants, and third-party data providers.<\/li><li>Set technical standards for code quality, CI\/CD, observability, reliability, and documentation.<\/li><li>Establish strong security, privacy, and data governance foundations to meet enterprise procurement and regulatory requirements.<\/li><li>Make build-versus-buy decisions for infrastructure, data providers, and core components.<\/li><li>Prepare groundwork for tokenization of real-world assets including blockchain, custody, and smart-contract architecture.<\/li><li>Hire, develop, and lead an engineering and data team based in Riyadh.<\/li><li>Collaborate closely with the CEO, customers, and compliance teams to translate financial workflows into products.<\/li><\/ul><h3>Requirements<\/h3><ul><li>Experience shipping AI\/ML or data-intensive products into production.<\/li><li>Strong software engineering fundamentals with hands-on experience in AI, data platforms, or information processing.<\/li><li>Background in fintech, financial services, capital markets, or regulated, accuracy-critical domains.<\/li><li>Proven ability to convert complex data into structured, reliable tools with measurable business impact.<\/li><li>Experience hiring, mentoring, and leading engineering teams in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.<\/li><li>Ownership mindset with high standards for reliability, security, and scalable architecture.<\/li><li>Effective communication skills with engineers, executives, and non-technical stakeholders.<\/li><li>Based in Riyadh or willing to relocate;
