team performance and delivery outcomes.<\/p><h3>Responsibilities<\/h3><ul><li>Lead, coach, and develop senior engineers and AI practitioners to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.<\/li><li>Manage team performance including goal setting, feedback, career development, and talent planning.<\/li><li>Ensure delivery excellence across multiple forward-deployed customer engagements aligned with success criteria.<\/li><li>Set technical direction and architectural guidelines in collaboration with Chief Experts and technical leads.<\/li><li>Serve as a senior escalation point for delivery risks, team challenges, and customer issues, resolving them decisively.<\/li><li>Build relationships with senior customer stakeholders and SAP leadership to advocate for team resources.<\/li><li>Recruit, hire, and onboard engineering talent in AI, data, and software engineering disciplines.<\/li><li>Collaborate with product, go-to-market, and regional leadership to align team capabilities with strategic priorities.<\/li><\/ul><h3>Requirements<\/h3><ul><li>Experience leading and managing senior engineering teams with a focus on high performance and inclusivity.<\/li><li>Strong technical background in AI, machine learning, data engineering, or software engineering.<\/li><li>Understanding of forward-deployed or customer-embedded delivery models and managing complex customer engagements.<\/li><li>Problem-solving skills and design thinking with ability to balance strategic and hands-on delivery.<\/li><li>Ability to develop talent, navigate organizational complexity, and align cross-functional stakeholders.<\/li><li>Experience working in an Agentic AI context and shaping AI agent applications in teams and customer settings.<\/li><li>Experience hiring and scaling engineering teams across regions with a commitment to diversity and inclusion.<\/li><li>Excellent communication and influencing skills with engineers,
