This role supports evidence generation, data use, and adaptive management, working closely with various stakeholders to ensure rigorous and actionable monitoring and evaluation outputs.<\/p><h3>Responsibilities<\/h3><ul><li>Lead performance management, monitoring, evaluations, assessments, and research activities under the Jordan MELA scope of work.<\/li><li>Support the design and improvement of performance monitoring systems, indicator tracking, and data review processes.<\/li><li>Develop and maintain scopes of work, methodologies, and work plans for evaluations and assessments.<\/li><li>Oversee the design and implementation of evaluations, assessments, political economy and market studies, situational analyses, rapid appraisals, and other research assignments including data collection and reporting.<\/li><li>Create and maintain indicator reference documents, reporting schedules, and analytics products to aid decision-making.<\/li><li>Analyze performance data with contextual information to identify trends, risks, gaps, and opportunities for adaptive management.<\/li><li>Conduct or supervise data quality assessments and follow up on findings and corrective actions.<\/li><li>Prepare dashboards, performance summaries, evaluation and assessment reports, and translate findings into actionable recommendations.<\/li><\/ul><h3>Requirements<\/h3><ul><li>Master\u2019s degree in international development, economics, public policy, social sciences, statistics, evaluation, or related field; doctoral degree preferred.<\/li><li>At least 7 years of experience designing and implementing evaluations, assessments, research studies, or applied social science research.<\/li><li>Experience with qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods approaches.<\/li><li>Proven ability to develop evaluation scopes of work, research designs, and actionable reports for donor or government clients.<\/li><li>Knowledge of evaluation standards, human subjects protection, and ethical research practices.<\/li><li>Experience working in Jordan and\/or the MENA region is strongly preferred.<\/li><li>Familiarity with U.S. Government foreign assistance programming and evaluation requirements is strongly preferred.<\/li><li>Strong analytical, writing, and presentation skills with ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.<\/li><li>Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in dynamic environments.<\/li><li>Excellent written and oral
